Day outing with toddlers at Club Cabana Bangalore

By 23:40:00 , ,

When kids are bored at home and you are falling short of ideas to keep them entertained, a days outing at a resort in Bangalore is the best.

I have two toddlers to entertain and many times end up spending more time in the kitchen. So this time we planned to go to a resort where kids can enjoy and i can take a break from cooking and cleaning up for a day. I think every mother needs this at least once a month.

We had been to club cabana and a few others earlier. But liked the concept of club cabana for kids. They have the tots pool with slide, wave pool, lazy river and a kids play area.

I had to wake up early to pack what is required and make breakfast for kids. Getting out of  the house with a toddler needs planning and packing. We get breakfast at the resort but for kids i prefer feeding them at home.
We reached club cabana at 11 am. Paid the entry fee of Rs. 1450 per person.

Entry fee: Rs.1550 includes breakfast, lunch and hi tea.
Resort timings: 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Lunch time : 1 pm to 2:30 pm
Hi tea : 4 pm
Locker timings: 9 am to 5:30 pm
Locker deposit refundable : Rs. 250
Bowling : Rs. 200 per person for 5*2 rounds.
Snooker deposit refundable : Rs. 500

My kids saw water and wanted to get in it. Only swim wear or nylon clothing is allowed in the water world. So quickly changed to swim wear and got into the wave pool. Waves are not continuous. They switch it on and off after sometime. We then went to something called "lazy river". It has a flow, so you just need to relax in the inflatable tube. The perfect place to be there when you are tired or lazy.

Next was my kids favorite, the tots pool. It also has a small slide, my daughter called it as a " tunnel slide". She enjoyed the slide and water and played for sometime.

It was time for lunch. Lunch was good with hot rotti's and naan's, paneer masala, Gobi chilly, dum aloo kofta, chicken masala, salads, papad, veg pulao, curd rice..

We continued water sports with different water slides for adults. They do not allow kids below 4 feet in height. So, both my kids couldn't try it. Spent some time in the water world and then changed.

We played a game of bowling and snooker. Bowling was well maintained. We were a little disappointed with snooker. Table and baize is good but the cue stick is very old and tip is worn out.
The resort also has carom, table tennis, archery, kids play area, net cricket, etc.. We missed trying out these.

Overall a good experience and kids had a good time. Hi-tea was served at 4 pm. Tea and coffee tasted good but the snacks were not something you can relish on.
