Does your family get surprise visit by guests? Do you want to make a quick snack for tea? Try making this delicious recipe. I bet you'll make this often.

Most of us have fond memories of food from our childhood. Whether it was our mom's homemade food or any other street or restaurant special menu, food has a way of transporting us back to the past. One such memory of mine is having Charmuri / Spicy puffed rice in Malpe beach at one of the open stalls.

Charmuri at Malpe beach is available even today. But, Malpe beach has changed so much through time, that I miss those days of less crowd and no shops.

As you grow up, things change, people change, places develop and finally you are left with only memories. But, the taste of Charmuri has still remained the same. The same lady still makes Charmuri there at one of the stalls.

I have tried and tested this recipe multiple times. When I was in college, I would try to make Charmuri to get the perfect taste but failed many times. After getting married, i had to try this recipe only once. I mentioned "try" because after that I would just make it to eat and my husband loved it. Now Charmuri is a regular snack at home. I have made Charmuri so many times at home that I get the taste right every time I make it. So here is the written recipe with the video.
